"CHOC has been a huge place in my families hearts and lives since 2009.  In 2010 my son Jackson got diagnosed with leukemia and spent a better part of 3 years in and out of the hospital getting treatment.  McCarthy was building the Bill Holmes Tower during his treatment as we were mostly in the North Tower.  Being associated with Bill Holmes Tower and Southwest Tower and getting to know a lot of people at CHOC over the past 15 years has been a highlight for my family and we have a lot of people there that are friends of mine and my family. CHOCstruction is one key initiative that we started around 2015 and has been instrumental in raising money for CHOC to make sure all the kids are getting first class treatment. CHOC in my opinion is probably the best Children’s Hospital in the United States and World.  CHOC will be part of my family for a long, long time as they saved my son's life along with millions of other kids."

"Working on the CHOC Southwest Tower project has been one of the highlights of my career. Every time I walk the building I am reminded of all the hours of hard work that has gone into this project and how many more lives will be affected with the great work that will be done here in the future, and lives that will be saved. The detail put into this building is remarkable and I am certain there are very few facilities out there that are better suited to provide comfort and healing to these children."

"CHOC has always meant a lot to me and my family. Whether it was a broken arm as a toddler or appendicitis in high school, I have experienced what it is like to be a kid treated at CHOC. I will never forget CHOCO and the pleasant memories made while in their care. Now as an adult with a young baby of my own, it is amazing to give back and help build their new Southwest Tower."

"My 16 year old Daughter was admitted to CHOC in 2024 for Mono, and seeing how caring and full of empathy and love ALL of the staff was made me know my daughter was in great hands. I also knew right then that I wanted to support this amazing place with my business and we have created a great relationship with the hospital ever since!"
